Introducing Fox & Pheasant. Atelier Iad, Ltd was commissioned to re-design a run-down pub in Chelsea (West London) owned by the famous singer James Blunt. The brief was to retain the traditional pub’s feel and character. The project included incorporating a new basement to house a commercial kitchen, enclosing the existing beer garden to create a covered/alfresco dining space, and reconfiguring the existing first-floor accommodation, transforming it into private dining and new bathroom facilities.

For the outdoor space transformation, the architectural team agreed to use the Libart retractable roof system they acquired through the Libart distributor in the UK. The core idea is to create a space that can be filled with natural light in good weather and be an indoor area when the weather is unfavorable. This retractable system integrates with the theme and allows for decorating items that can be hung.
