Located on the scenic coastline of Mumbai, the JW Marriott Juhu selected the Panora vertical retracting window system to elevate the dining environment at its upscale Mezzo Restaurant. This installation highlights how modern architectural glass systems can create flexible, luxurious dining spaces that appeal to today’s hospitality guests.
A Smart and Seamless Retracting Window Solution
Mezzo needed a glazing system that could shift effortlessly between enclosed comfort and an inviting open-air setting. Panora vertical retracting windows provided exactly that. When fully closed, the units form a secure, insulated glass wall that protects guests from wind, noise, and climate variations. When opened, the windows retract upward, creating a wide, unobstructed opening that brings fresh air and natural light directly into the restaurant.
This design allows Mezzo to maintain year-round versatility while supporting both ambience and functionality.
Architectural Design That Enhances Guest Experience
To match the sophisticated interior of JW Marriott Juhu, the project incorporated sleek black framing paired with high-performance double glazing. The insulated glass delivers excellent thermal and acoustic control, which is essential for maintaining a calm dining environment in a busy coastal city.
The result is a clean and modern appearance that blends seamlessly with the restaurant’s aesthetic while supporting operational efficiency.
A Showcase of Luxury Hospitality Design
The Mezzo Restaurant installation demonstrates how Panora vertical retracting windows can reshape guest experiences in high-end hospitality spaces. The system creates a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor dining, improves energy efficiency, and elevates the overall architectural appeal. For designers and hospitality brands seeking a premium glazing solution, this project serves as a strong example of what is possible with advanced retractable window technology.
